Microsoft Windows Cluster Services
Creí conveniente armar una lista de links interesantes sobre los servicios de Clustering de Microsoft ya que muchas veces buscamos información y no la podemos encontrar debidamente. Desde estos links vas a poder enterarte de toda la info de los servicios de Clustering de Microsoft. Hay documentos de todas las versiones del servicio de MS Cluster Server (MSCS)
Para quien no conoce de qué estoy hablando, Cluster, es un servicio que brinda "Alta Disponibilidad" a los servicios. Ojo, no confundir con Tolerante a Fallas, ese es otro concepto totalmente diferente. Tolerante a Fallas es un arreglo de discos RAID 1 por ejemplo, se rompe un disco y nunca nos enteramos porque sigue funcionando el segundo. Alta Disponibilidad en cambio es un servicio que se encarga de dar el mayor tiempo de uptime de una aplicación o servicio determinado. Existe un corte de servicio pero es mínimo ya que es el tiempo que demora en iniciar dicha aplicación o servicio en un segundo equipo. Pero si existe un micro-corte del mismo.

bueno, la idea es utilizarlo como File Services
por lo cual necesito alta disponibilidad para los usuarios, no tengo mas presupuesto por eso quiero sacarle el mayor jugo a los recursos con que cuento que es una instalacion core.
